How I Refer People, Link and Share Hubpages with Friends, Family, Business Associates and Colleagues

Simple. I tweet like crazy. This is a simple matter of clicking the "tweet" button and posting a message with a hyperlink back to this network.

Second easiest way is to post links on other blog sites. Oh! I really meant to share on YOUR OWN blogs around the internet, because posting URL links on other people's blogs may be considered spam and simply disrespectful of their space. However, if there is pertinent information that is worthwhile for people to learn by clicking over to your Hub, then it will be appreciated. In fact, a number of blogs have an AUTOMATIC link to your latest blog, which might be your Hubpages.

Third, use the FaceBook Share button and either create a special "invitation to watch" or post directly in your stream. Add a few words commentary as incentive for others to read the link.

Attempting to be very experimental, I recorded the creation of this hubpage. Now, when I posted to YouTube and embedded here on Hubs, there is no sound track! Aw Gee Whizz. I'll see if that can be fixed.

This is the very first time that I have attempted to create Video Tutorials to complement my Hubpages and its been extremely educational, frustrating, fun and has given me a sense of accomplishment. See Item Number Nine on this list.

Fourth, if you are at an in-person networking meeting, you can also tell others about this wonderful community of journalist and authors. When I'm teaching friends about social networking, Hubpages is number "3" on my list after Twitter and FaceBook.

Fifth, hubbers can add their personal identity directly on their business card and/or email signature.

Sixth, gee whizz, I forgot that I also have the widgets posted on my personal website. Dang. That's a lot of ways that I directly or indirectly get folks to click over to this community.

Seventh. There are two more ways. I've noticed while on Blip.fm and #BlogTalkRadio some pretty animated advertisements to join Hubpages. Again, it is an indirect move to point this out when people are visiting my other sites.

Eighth. Insert or send someone the url for the RSS feed for your or your friend's hubpages.

Ninth. Create videos and link to YouTube Channel

Eleventh. Click the Share with Hubpage Followers. One easy click and you're done. Depending upon how many followers you have will depend upon how many people visit your hub. However, it is the depth of your relationships that count the most. So, if you have just a few close friends that you keep in touch with often, they are more likely to visit your link than a whole bunch of followers with whom you never communicate. Remember it is exponential. That means if your good friends who visit your Hubpage like it, they will certainly click one of those share buttons for even more people to visit. 

As a special bonus for sticking with me this long on the learning curve, here is something special. I can tell you that I've spent an entire day working on this project. Even though it is time consuming, this self-study on my part has been educational. 

Something new always seems to pop up on your screen as you work your Hub. Here is how to view your Statistics Screen. How many views have you had and who has viewed from what part of the global network.

If you click that green button 'Suggest Links' you will see that your article highlights numerous words throughout the page. These are the words that you can hyperlink to other Hubpages with similar information that will enhance their learning, or create another Hub or Blog where you can link back to this page. 

It could be an opportunity for you to browse the web and find out what other people are saying about the topic under discussion.
